Me and Pier 1 go back to 8th grade, when I had my first job (delivering news papers). I had saved up my money and had my eye on a beautiful vanity for my bed room, I've loved Pier 1 ever since. I recently had the opportunity to do a little holiday shopping there, and fell in love with just about everything in the store! About half the store was dedicated to fun, fancy and funky holiday decor! I love that they have something for every style and price range. I wandered around in bliss for over an hour as my husband happily babysat the kids at home. Here are some of my very favorite holiday items available at Pier 1:
They have TONS of ornaments, gorgeous, sparkly, colorful and clever!
These were a FEW of my favorites. These octopus ornaments cracked me up! The snowflakes were so shimmery and beautiful, and I just fell in love with the peacock and owl.
I'm a sucker for wreaths, I would hang one in every room if I could. Pier 1 had a great selection! This red blooms and berries wreath was just stunning. The peacock wreath is something my inner me screams out for, but I've toned down my decorating style for my husband's sake. They had lots of ornament wreaths, I LOVED all the colors in this one!

Need some holiday gifts ideas? They have something for everyone on your list. They have an insane amount of stocking stuffers and gifts for kids! Tons of gorgeous rings to choose from. How cool are these golf club pens? I loved these paper yo-yo's when I was little!
These are the items that came very close to coming home with me...I love the detail on these mercury snowflake candle holders. This glittery tree photo holder would also work great to hold holiday cards, it reminds me of something out of a Dr. Seuss book! These peppermint pillar candle stands are so fun and festive!
They also had some amazing smelling air fresheners, reed diffusers and candles! My favorite sent was spiced cranberry. It smelled SO good!
In addition to ALL that, they had an amazing staff! Janelle and her crew were super friendly and helpful!
They helped me narrow down my search and this is what I came home with:
mercury glass candle holder, peppermint cream candle, and two silver aluminum taper holders.
And here they are on my console table in my front room! I LOVE them, they are so bright and shiny and make me smile every time I see them! The peppermint candle smells SO good to, I haven't even lit it yet and my whole front room smells good!
Of course, I had to pick up a little something for my two munchkins waiting at home, so I got these little lights for their rooms:

I have always been a fan of Pier1. I even worked there for a year or so. I love their stuff. But I tell you it was hard because we got a 40% discount and most of my paycheck went to store stuff. lol But it was my 2nd job and it was ok. lol

Emily, I would have TOTALLY blown my whole paycheck there if that's where I worked! 40% discount is AWESOME! Maybe I need to go apply for a part time job! :)
